Users with the Manage District Settings user permission can set up an integration with Aktivate Athletic League Software. This allows athletic events in Aktivate to sync to Schedules.
This integration is a multi-step process.
Step 1: Copy the Schedules API key
- In Schedules, select Admin > Settings > Integrations Setting.
Next to ML API Key, copy the code.
Note: You will enter this API Key in Aktivate.
Step 2: Designate athletic spaces in Schedules
| Important: Do this procedure for each Schedules space that needs to be linked to Aktivate's facilities. |
- In Schedules, select Locations > Manage Spaces. The Manage Spaces page appears.
- Next to the space you want, click
. The Manage Space page appears.
- Next to Is Athletic?, select the checkbox.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for all existing spaces you want to link with Aktivate.
Step 3: Set up integration parameters in Schedules
- Select Admin > Settings > Integration tab.
Next to Group to Create External Events, select Athletic Events.
Note: All events synced from Aktivate are associated with this group. - Next to Users to Receive External Event Double Booked Emails, enter the email(s) you want notified when an event synced from Aktivate conflicts with an existing Schedules event.
Next to Default Duration (in Minutes) for External Events, enter the number of minutes for an event if no other setting is entered.
Note: This defaults to 120 minutes. - Next to Default Setup Minutes for External Events, enter the number of minutes to block out before the event start time for setup.
- Next to Default Breakdown Minutes for External Events, enter the number of minutes to block out after the event end time for breakdown.
- Click Save Integration Settings.
Step 4: Complete the integration in Aktivate
