Users with the Manage District Settings user permission can set up an integration with BigTeams Schedule Star. This allows athletic events in Schedule Star to sync to Schedules.
| Important: You must notify your Facilities Schedules account rep if you want to integrate with BigTeams Schedule Star. |
This integration is a two-step process.
Step 1: Link Schedule spaces to corresponding facilities in BigTeams Schedule Star
| Important: Do this procedure for each Schedules space that needs to be linked to BigTeams Schedule Star's facilities. |
- Select Locations > Manage Spaces. The Manage Spaces page appears.
- Next to the space you want, click
.
- Under Schedule Star Facility Names, select the facilities you want to link to this space.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for all existing spaces you want to link with Schedule Star.
Step 2: Set up Schedule Star integration parameters in Schedules
- Select Admin > Settings > Integration tab.
Next to Group to Create External Events, select Athletic Events.
Note: All events synced from Schedule Star are associated with this group. - Next to Users to Receive External Event Double Booked Emails, enter the email(s) you want notified when an event synced from Schedule Star conflicts with an existing Schedules event.
Next to Default Duration (in Minutes) for External Events, enter the number of minutes for an event if no other setting is entered.
Note: This defaults to 120 minutes. - Next to Default Setup Minutes for External Events, enter the number of minutes to block out before the event start time for setup.
- Next to Default Breakdown Minutes for External Events, enter the number of minutes to block out after the event end time for breakdown.
- Click Save Integration Settings.
