Users with the Manage District Settings or Space Approvers user permission or the Approve on Behalf of Others role permission can manage a request's status.
You can put a request On Hold to delay the approval of that request. For example, you might want to put a request on hold while waiting for additional information from the requestor. When a request is On Hold, the event details, such as date, time, and space, appear as Unavailable on the calendar.
You can also approve or decline requests.
To put a request on hold:

Select View > Awaiting My Approval. The Manage Requests: Awaiting My Approval page appears.
- Next to the request you want, click
. The request appears.

On the Status drop-down, select On Hold. A pop-up appears.

Do the following:
a. Enter any desired notes.
b. To hide the note from the requestor or group, select the Internal Notes Only checkbox.
Notes:
- Internal notes are visible to other approvers.
- External notes are visible to the user and group who submitted the request.

Do one of the following:
• Click Save & Send Email.
• Click Save.
To remove a hold on a request:

Select View > On Hold Requests. The Manage Requests: On Hold Requests page appears.
- Next to the request you want, click
. The request appears.
- On the Status drop-down, select Remove Hold. A confirmation message appears.
- Click OK.
The status is returned to Pending.
