We are currently working on improvements to the way Roles and Permissions are handled within ML Schedules. As of right now, granting each user permission can be cumbersome. Coming soon, you will be able to create a custom role that encompasses multiple permissions, and then you will be able to simply grant that custom role to a user at either one or multiple buildings. We expect our new Roles and Permissions to be live by mid-December. See below for additional details on these changes.
User Roles and Permissions
Each custom role will have individual permissions that can be selected.
Once a Role is created, from the Manage Users page, you can simply add a role to a user and decide at what building(s) they have that role.
Ability to add a Space or Date to an existing Request:
Users with the Manage Site Settings permission under (admin permissions) will have the ability to add a Space or Date to an existing request.
Selecting the More option at the bottom of the Request details page will show this action button.
Once the action button has been selected, a new Modal will pop up to add the new spaces or dates to the request.
Ability to copy (clone) an event for a future date
Users with the Manage Site Settings permission under (admin permissions) and Group Managers can Clone an event for a future date.
Selecting the More option at the bottom of the Request details page will show this action button.
Once the Copy button is selected, the Request Modal will pop-up to fill out the information needed to copy the request.
We look forward to enhancing your experience in ML Schedules. If you have any questions or concerns please submit a ticket here: http://support.mlschedules.com/support/tickets/new
