Users with the Edit Requests role permission can add a note to a request. This can be an internal note for admin only or an external note visible to both admin and the requestor.
To add a note to a request:
- Select View > View All Requests.
- Next to the request you want, click
. The request appears.
On the Notes tab, do the following:
a. Enter any desired notes.
b. To send the note from the requestor or group, deselect the Is Internal checkbox.
Notes:
- Internal notes are visible to other approvers.
- External notes are visible to the user and group who submitted the request.
- Click Add/Save Note. The note appears.
To delete a note:
- Select View > View All Requests.
- Next to the request you want, click
. The request appears.
- On the Notes tab, next to the note you want, click
. A confirmation appears.
- Click Yes.
