Users with the Edit Requests role permission can edit a recurring request. They can also respond to recurring requests all at once by changing their status, such as to Mass Approve, Decline, or On Hold. In addition, they can add a new occurrence or space.
To edit recurring events:
- Select View > All Pending Requests or View All Requests.

Do one of the following:
• Next to the recurring request you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
• Next to the individual request you want:
a. Click
. A pop-up appears.
b. In the upper-right corner, click View All Occurrences. A list of all occurrences appears.

Do one of the following:
• To select all events, select the Id checkbox.
• Select the checkbox for each occurrence you want. - Click Edit.

Do the following:
a. Next to each field you want to edit, select the checkbox.
b. Make your edits.Notes:
- You can enter the start and end time down to the minute, such as 8:12 pm.
- You can add up to six attachments to multiple requests at once.

Click Save.
Notes:
- The system checks for conflicts. You must resolve these before you can continue.
- Users with the Double Book role permission can proceed with a double-booking by selecting the checkbox.

When all conflicts are resolved, click Save again. A pop-up appears.

Do any of the following:
a. For any group of users you do not want to notify, deselect their checkbox.Note: The changes are highlighted in the email. b. To Recalculate Fee, select the checkbox.
Notes:
- If you select this, Schedules recalculates all fees applied to the request, not just the selected fields.
- To add a custom fee, leave the checkbox deselected.
Important: If you make edits without recalculating fees, the costs remain the same. For example, if a request was originally scheduled for four hours and you changed it to two hours, the cost remains based on four hours. If you recalculate it, the cost is updated based on two hours. - Click Save.
To mass-respond to recurring events:
- Select View > All Pending Requests or View All Requests.
- Next to the request you want, click
. A pop-up appears.

Do one of the following:
• To select all events, select the ID checkbox.
• Select the checkbox for each occurrence you want.
- Click Update Status.

Select one of the following:
• Approve
• Decline
• Cancel
• On Hold
• Remove Hold
• Restart Approval
• Undo Approval
• Finalize
To add a new date or space to a recurring event:

- Select View > View All Requests.
- Next to the request you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
- In the upper-right corner, select Actions > Add Spaces(s)/Add Dates(s). A pop-up appears.

b. Select the Frequency.
c. Enter the Date & Time Information.Note: Users with the Can Enter Events in the Past role permission can enter previous dates for events that have already occurred.

To Require Reservation to go through Approval, select the checkbox.
Note: If this is not selected, the new occurrence takes the status of the request you are adding to. -
Select the users you want to send an update to.
Note: If you restart the approval process, Approve Users and Additionally Notify Users are selected by default. - Click View Availability.
- If the space is available, click Continue. The Request Details page appears.
- Click View Requests or View All Occurrences to see the new occurrence.
