Users with the Mass Cancel role permission can cancel all events on a designated date or date range. This is useful for weather-related issues or emergency situations.
To mass cancel events:
Select Requests > Mass Cancel Events. The Mass Cancel Events page appears.
Note: This defaults to the current date, showing all approved, pending, and on hold events. Select the checkboxes next to the events you want to cancel, or select all using the top checkbox.
Note: To filter events by column, such as Site or Space, next to the column you want:
a. Click.
b. In the filter section, select which items you want.
c. Click Filter.Enter a Cancel Reason.
Note: This text is included in the automatic email. If you do not want automatic emails sent, deselect the checkbox.
Note: Automatic emails are sent to users based on request status:
• Pending and On Hold requests:o Group managers
o Additionally notified users
• Approved requests:o Space Additionally notified users
o Requests additionally notified users
o Field additionally notified users
o The requestor
o The Admin canceling the request
o All group contacts
o All group managers who receive emails for All Requests- Click Cancel Events.
