Users with the Manage District Settings role permission can give permission for specific classifications or individual users to submit requests for blocked dates by assigning the Bypass Blocked Dates permission.

You can also let users bypass days notice. bypass approval, and double book a space.
To allow all users in a classification to bypass blocked dates:
Select Users > Manage Classifications. The Manage Classifications page appears.
- Next to the classification you want, click
. A pop-up appears
On the Permissions tab, next to Bypass Blocked Dates, select Yes.
Important: If a user has the Bypass Blocked Dates role permission at the user level, they will be able to bypass the notice period, even if the classification permission is no. - Click Save.
Any group in the selected classification can now submit requests outside of the minimum and maximum days notice setting.
To allow individual users to bypass blocked dates:

Step 1: Assign a role the Bypass Blocked Dates permission.
Select Users > Manage Role. The Manage Roles page appears.
- Next to the role you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
Next to Bypass Blocked Dates, select the checkbox.
Important: If a user belongs to a classification that has the Bypass Blocked Dates classification permission enabled, they will be able to submit requests for blocked dates without the role permission. - Click Save.
Step 2: Assign a user that role.
Select Users > Manage Users. The Manage Users page appears.
Next to the user you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
On the Roles tab , do the following:
a. Click + Add Role.
b. Use the drop-down to select a role.
c. Click the Sites field, and select a site.
Note: You can select one site, multiple sites, or all sites. d. Click
.
- Click Save.
This user can now submit requests for blocked dates.
