Users with the Manage District Settings role permission can give permission for specific classifications or individual users to double book a space that is already booked by assigning the Double Book permission. This gives district staff the ability to choose which group is given the requested time slot and facility.

To allow all users in a classification to double book a space:
Select Users > Manage Classifications. The Manage Classifications page appears.
Next to the classification you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
On the Permissions tab, next to Allow Double Booking, select Yes.
Important: If a user has the Allow Double Booking role permission at the user level, they will be able to double book a space, even if the classification permission is no. - Click Save.
Any group in the selected classification can now double book a space.
To allow individual users to double book:

Step 1: Assign a role the Double Book permission.
Select Users > Manage Role. The Manage Roles page appears.
- Next to the role you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
Next to Double Book, select the checkbox.
Important: If a user belongs to a classification that has the Allow Double Booking classification permission enabled, they will be able to submit requests for double booking spaces without the role permission. - Click Save.
Step 2: Assign a user that role.
Select Users > Manage Users. The Manage Users page appears.
Next to the user you want, click
. A pop-up appears.
On the Roles tab , do the following:
a. Click + Add Role.
b. Use the drop-down to select a role.
c. Click the Sites field, and select a site.
Note: You can select one site, multiple sites, or all sites. d. Click
.
- Click Save.
This user can now double book a space.
