Set up the calendar legend – ML Schedules

Users with the Manage District Settings user permission can enable a calendar setting that lets you color-code events by location or event type.

To change the calendar legend:

Select Admin > Settings > Display Settings. The Display Settings page appears.
In the Events Display Settings section, next to Color Code Events in Calendar, select Location or Event Type.
Scroll down, and click Update All Events' Visibility. A confirmation appears.
Note: The changes will apply to all future events, as well as the past three months.
Click OK.

To adjust colors, do any of the following:

Manage Sites

Note: You will need to do this for each existing site you want updated.

Select Locations > Manage Sites.
Next to the site you want, click . The Manage Site pop-up appears.
Click Display.
Under Override Space Color Settings, select Yes.
Next to Background Color and/or Text Color, enter the desired hex code or choose a color from the palette that appears.
Click Save.

Note: You will also need to change Override Space Color Settings to Yes for all existing spaces you want to update.

Manage Spaces

Select Locations > Manage Spaces.
Next to the space you want, click . The Manage Space pop-up appears.
Next to Background Color and/or Text Color, enter the desired hex code or choose a color from the palette that appears.
Click Save.

Event Type

Select Admin > Manage Event Types.
Next to the event type you want, click . The Event Type pop-up appears.
Next to Background Color and/or Text Color, enter the desired hex code or choose a color from the palette that appears.
Click Save.

Note: You will also need to update the display setting to color-code by event type under Admin > Settings > Events Display Settings > Color Code Events in Calendar.
