Users with the Manage District Settings user permission can manage the request settings. These are district-wide settings.
To manage request settings:
- Select Admin > Settings.
Click Request Settings. The Request Settings page appears.
Set the following as desired:
Setting Select whether or not to... Allow Events Longer than 24 hours Allow events longer than 24 hours. If not allowed, a message will appear if someone submits a request longer than 24 hours. Show Additional files section on Submit Request Form Show Additional Files section on request submission form.
If No, files can be uploaded later.Allow Requestors to enter additional information Allow requestors to add additional information when submitting a request. Include attachments on Approval required Emails Include attachments in approval notification emails. Include attachments on Additional Notified Emails Include attachments in emails to additionally notified users. Require Event Type for an Event Require an event type on requests. Hide Group Information on Requests Hide group information. All users with roles selected only see the Group Name field on the request details page. No other group information is shown. Allow Space Approvers to edit requests when pending themselves Allow space approvers without the Edit Request permission to edit requests that are pending their own approval by clicking an Edit button. Prevent Space Approvers from undoing Request Approval Prevent space approvers from changing approved requests by removing the Undo Approval button. Show Approve/Decline Remaining Requests Prompt Allow users to bulk approve or decline requests by clicking the Approve or Decline remaining requests button. Require Decline Reason Require a note to change the request status to Declined. Display Setup and Breakdown Times for Requests Set a default time for setup and breakdown for all events.
- If Yes, you will be prompted to enter the time.
- If No, requestors will be required to set up and break down time in their request.
Default Frequency Set a default frequency for requested events from the drop-down, or set a custom frequency. Reason for Group Application Require a reason for requests - Click Save Request Settings.
To view Request Setting change history:
Viewing Audits (History)
- Select Admin > Settings.
- Click Request Settings.
- At the top-right, click Change History.
The change history will be displayed with all adjustments and who made it.
