Users with the Manage District Settings user permission can generate custom in-app announcements, and send bulk email announcements.
For pop-up announcements, you can track who sees the announcement and report if the user acknowledges the message.
To send an announcement:
Select Admin > Manage Announcements. The Announcements page appears.
Click + Add Announcement. A pop-up appears.
Do any of the following:
Note: Options vary depending on the type you select. Field Description Type Select how you want the announcement viewed:
Email: Send a bulk email to selected users immediately.
Note: The email is sent showing the Admin in the To field, and is blind carbon copied (BCC'd) to all others. Popup: Show a pop-up during a specific date range.
Notes:
- The pop-up shows once daily between the start and end dates.
- If multiple announcements are scheduled for the same time, they are consolidated into one, and the acknowledgment applies to all.
- Request: Show a pop-up to users requesting specific sites and spaces.
Email & Popup: Send a bulk email immediately, and show a pop-up during a specific date range.
Notes:
- The email is sent showing the Admin in the To field, and is blind carbon copied (BCC'd) to all others.
- The pop-up shows once daily between the start and end dates.
Title Enter the desired title. Content Enter the info you want to share, including images and hyperlinks. Attach File...
Note: Available with Email and Email & Popup announcement types. a. Click Attach File.
b. Select the desired file.
c. Click Open.Notes:
- You can upload PDF, GIF, JPG, and PNG files.
- File size is limited to 10 MB.
Classifications
Note: Not available for the Request announcement type. Select the classification(s) you want to see the announcement. Group Status

Note: Not available for the Email announcement type. Enter the date range you want the announcement to appear.

To manage an existing announcement:
- Select Admin > Manage Announcements. The Announcements page appears.
Next to the document you want, do any of the following:

Delete an announcement
Note: You can only delete pop-up announcement types if there are no acknowledgments. a. Click . A confirmation pop-up appears.
b. Click Yes.
