In this tip/trick discussion we are going to mention something that was released in the past few months. With the One Request method update a lot of the users are going to be seeing their Calendar as the homepage. With that being said depending on your district you might be seeing a ton of information. We have provided a breakdown with the Calendar Legend Feature.
The Calendar will display colors based on Event Type or your Site/Space color settings. This can be decided in your Public Display Settings page.
The Calendar Legend will appear on the Calendar Report and the Public Display Calendar. When viewing both Calendars, there will be a key icon at the top right of the page.
1. Select the Calendar Report or Public Display Calendar.
2. Select the key icon
3. Your Legend will then display based on the setting chosen above
1. You can change the Event type colors by selecting Settings > Setup Items > Manage Event types.
1a. Select the pencil icon next to the Event Type and adjust the color and click Save.
2. You can change Site/Space colors by selecting Locations > Manage Sites or Manage Spaces.
2a. Scroll down to Background and Text color and click into the fields to change the colors and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
