ML Schedules™ Software allows school districts to integrate with Outlook Calendar.
An iCal feed is a common technique used for sharing calendars among software that supports a standard calendar format.
To add an iCal feed in Outlook, follow these instructions:
Step 1: In Locations Manage Sites or Manage Spaces (depending on if you want a whole Site or just a specific Space's events), find the Site or Space you would like to set up in Outlook Calendar.
Step 2: Click the Calendar Icon. A modal window with the iCal will then display. Copy and paste this iCal.
Step 3: In Outlook, Choose "Tools" and "Account Settings"
Step 4: In the dialog box that appears, click on the "Internet Calendars" tab.
Step 5: Click on the "New" link and paste the iCal link into the field.
Step 6: Click "Add" when finished and enter a custom name for this new calendar if you want.
Step 7: Click "OK" when finished.
Click on your regular "Calendar" link in Outlook to view your default calendar. This new calendar should now be available in addition to your default calendar and can be viewed as an overlay to your default calendar or side-by-side. For more information about viewing internet calendars in Outlook, please read this article on Microsoft's website.
