ML Schedules™ K12 Facility Request Software allows District Admins to cancel all events on a designated date regardless of event status (i.e., approved, on hold, or pending).
Useful for weather related and other emergency conditions, the Mass Cancel command applies to all sites and spaces on a district-wide basis. As the name implies, Admins only have to perform this brief procedure once to cancel all events on the designated date which also automatically emails all affected Group Managers of the cancellation.
When logged into ML Schedules™ Software as a District Admin:
1. Select Admin > Mass Cancel from the main menu bar.
The Mass Cancel Events screen will be displayed.
2. Enter the desired Date and select the View Events button.
The Mass Cancel Events screen will be displayed showing all approved, pending or on-hold events scheduled for the specified date.
NOTE: “No events on selected day” will be displayed if there are no events scheduled on that date.
3. Enter the appropriate text in the Cancel Reason field.
NOTE: The text entered here will be displayed as a District Response Note in the emails that will automatically be sent to all effected Group Managers.
4. Select the Cancel Events button to cancel all events on the specific date.
An email will automatically be sent to all affected Group Managers with a cancellation notice that includes the Cancel Reason text.
